Major General (Retd) CMDP Chandrasekere ndu MSc (MS&S)

Major General (Retd) C M D P Chandrasekare (Prasanna) was born on 10th September 1965 in Kadugannawa (Central Province – Sri Lanka). He studied at the prestigious Dharmaraja College, Kandy from the year 1970 to 1984 where he excelled at both academics and sports. He enlisted into the Sri Lanka Army Regular Force on 1st November 1985 and underwent his basic military training at Sri Lanka Military Academy, Diyathalawa and Officers’ Training School in Pakistan. On successful completion of the training, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and posted to Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 24th July 1986. Subsequently, he was promoted to the ranks of Lieutenant (1989), Captain (1990), Major (1995), Lieutenant Colonel (2005), Colonel (2009), Brigadier (2013), and Major General (2019) respectively.

Major General Prasanna Chandrasekere, during his senior-level achievements, served as the Director General, Real Estate and Quartering of the Sri Lanka Army from 2017 to 2019. In this role, he was responsible for planning and allocation of accommodation, as well as the acquisition and renting of lands and buildings for the entire Sri Lanka Army. Subsequently, he assumed the position of Master General Ordnance at the Army Headquarters from December 2019 to September 2020. As the Master General Ordnance, his responsibilities included formulating policies for all material management functions in the Army, in accordance with Financial Regulations, Procurement Guidelines, Treasury Circulars, and Directives of the Ministry of Defence. He oversaw the implementation of these policies through the under-command Directorates and Establishments, with approximately 450 Officers serving under his command. Additionally, he held the positions of Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Women Corps from February 2020 to September 2020 and Chairman of the Army Aquatic and Water Polo Committee.

Upon his retirement from the Sri Lanka Army on 9th September 2020, Major General Prasanna Chandrasekere concluded a remarkable 34-plus years of steadfast service. Throughout his illustrious tour of duty, he actively participated in numerous military operations against terrorism in Sri Lanka, assuming diverse responsibilities in various command, staff, and instructional appointments that aligned with his held ranks and showcased his extensive field experience.

An alumnus of the prestigious Collage of Defence Studies at the National Defence University of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) China, Major General Prasanna Chandrasekere obtained a post-graduation degree in Master of Military Science and Strategic Studies (MSc MS&S), along with the title of ‘ndu’ (National Defence University).

Post-retirement, he transitioned to the Government Sector, joining the State Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education Research, and Innovation on 5th October 2020. Serving as a Coordinating Secretary until 1st July 2021, he coordinated with government officials and other ministries, organizing meetings and discussions related to the respective Ministry.

Later, from the State Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education Research, and Innovation, he moved to the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) on 2nd July 2021. Holding positions on a contractual basis, he served until his resignation on 23rd September 2022, in roles such as Director Industrial Relations – NAITA and Director Operations (Foreign Employment Pvt Ltd) – NAITA.

Our guards are provided with ongoing training.The ongoing training program ensures that they can relate directly to clients’ needs, enabling them to quickly adapt to situations, analyze risks, and make effective strategic decisions.

Our guards report to duty in presentable company uniforms with a neat appearance.

HOW WE WORK

Meet the client and discuss the requirements.

Site Survey in which needed security and protection services are ascertained

Subsequently, a security plan will be created to identify the responsibilities and duties of the security guards.

Security guards will be selected through our rigorous screening process.

Security guard’s will be provided with proper training, briefing of post orders, and client requirements

A supervisor will regularly perform inspections.

SECURITY GUARDS’ RESPONSIBILITY

Ensure the safety of all resources and persons on the site.

Respond promptly and appropriately to all security-related emergencies and incidents of fire outbreaks.

Patrol all the areas of the site to provide a visible presence to prevent and minimize any crime including theft, damage, trespassing, on-site as saults, arguments, and altercations.

Immediately notify the onsite manager and/or the appropriate law enforcement agencies if any untoward incident takes place.
